Summary Client is seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Transformation Consultant to lead an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle Fusion Cloud assessment engagement. This role will partner with business and IT stakeholders to evaluate the current ERP landscape, assess cloud readiness, and define a strategic, actionable roadmap for modernization. The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise in Procurement, Inventory, and Costing with strong consulting, stakeholder engagement, and executive communication skills.
Responsibilities - Lead ERP discovery sessions and assessment workshops with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders.
- Evaluate the current Oracle EBS environment, including business processes, configurations, customizations, integrations, and reporting.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis comparing Oracle EBS capabilities with Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions to identify transformation opportunities.
- Analyze procurement, inventory, and costing processes within distribution operations to identify optimization and standardization opportunities.
- Assess customization footprint, integration complexity, and data considerations impacting cloud migration.
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI capabilities, and embedded analytics within Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Define future-state architecture and develop a high-level ERP transformation roadmap.
- Provide strategic recommendations on migration approach, risks, and implementation considerations.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and advisory insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex ERP environments into clear, actionable transformation strategies.
Requirements - 8–12+ years of Oracle ERP experience, with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Functional expertise in Procurement, Inventory, and Costing modules within supply chain or distribution environments.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM capabilities and architecture.
- Proven experience conducting ERP assessments, discovery engagements, or transformation advisory initiatives.
- Experience performing fit-gap analysis, solution evaluation, and ERP modernization planning.
- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex technical environments into business-focused insights and recommendations.
- Experience with Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud transformations is preferred.
- Consulting background supporting enterprise ERP or cloud transformation initiatives is a plus.
