Summary

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services
Provide advanced production support for AWS workloads and cloud-native applications
Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root cause analysis efforts
Drive incident resolution and implement preventive measures to improve platform reliability
Develop, manage, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform
Build and support reusable Terraform modules, standards, and deployment patterns
Manage Terraform state, module versioning, dependency management, and infrastructure lifecycle processes
Review infrastructure code, execution plans, and architectural designs to ensure compliance with best practices
Implement and support automated infrastructure deployments through CI/CD pipelines
Design, deploy, and support containerized applications using Docker, Amazon ECS, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS
Manage Kubernetes clusters, workloads, namespaces, RBAC policies, Helm charts, and deployment configurations
Develop and maintain Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests for repeatable application and platform deployments
Support EKS cluster operations, upgrades, troubleshooting, scaling, and performance optimization
Configure and manage service discovery, ingress controllers, load balancing, networking, and security policies
Implement GitOps and CI/CD deployment practices using modern DevOps tooling
Monitor infrastructure, applications, and platform health through logging, monitoring, and observability solutions
Implement and maintain operational standards for availability, performance, security, and scalability
Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver cloud platform solutions
Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote engineering best practices
Communicate technical risks, recommendations, and architecture decisions to stakeholders and leadership
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, reliability, performance, security, and cost optimization
Support disaster recovery planning, business continuity initiatives, and operational readiness programs

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
Terraform Associate Certification
