Job SummaryOur client is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to support the quality assurance efforts of the Enterprise Data Hub, with a specific focus on customer experience platforms. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data powering high-impact initiatives such as core programs behind customer retention, personalization, and improved customer journeys. As a senior individual contributor, you will lead end-to-end QA processes across multiple data-driven projects, from requirements inception through production release. Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & Testing- Own QA delivery across multiple concurrent data and analytics initiatives.
- Participate early in the SDLC to review requirements, validate acceptance criteria, and define test strategy.
- Design detailed test cases, test plans, and validation scripts for data platforms and customer-facing business logic.
- Perform end-to-end validation of complex data pipelines, segmentation logic, and customer classification rules.
- Ensure accuracy of critical customer experience functions, including:
- Eligibility for promotions
- Personalized offers
- Churn-risk scoring
- Proactive support recommendations and intelligent routing
Data & Platform Testing- Test data integrations involving customer accounts, billing, promotions, viewership, and behavioral interaction data.
- Validate logic for scenarios such as:
- Promotion expiration and billing impacts
- Service outage routing and prioritization
- Recommendation engines and customer status models
Defect Management & Reporting- Use JIRA for defect creation, triage, tracking, and reporting.
- Provide clear, structured QA updates to stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, developers, platform teams, and product managers to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications- 8+ years of QA experience, with strong emphasis on data testing
- Expertise with:
- JIRA for defect tracking and reporting
- SQL for data validation, profiling, and complex queries
- Shell scripting for test utilities or automation support
- Proven ability to test complex data logic, segmentation models, and business rules.
- Experience working across the full project lifecycle from requirements to release.
- Ability to operate independently while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
