Job Description
We are seeking a Developer to triage and troubleshoot incidents affecting EDBC
functionality across SNAP, TANF, and Child Care modules.
Responsibilities
- Triage and troubleshoot incidents affecting EDBC functionality across SNAP, TANF,
and Child Care modules
- Analyze logs, code, data, and system behavior to identify root causes
- Implement or coordinate fixes
- Validate resolution with functional and testing teams
Required Skills
- Strong Java development and troubleshooting experience, including the ability to
analyze application logs, debug code, identify root causes, and resolve defects in
complex enterprise applications
- Experience supporting production or test-environment incidents
- Experience collaborating across development, testing, and functional teams
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting health and human services eligibility and enrollment systems,
particularly SNAP, TANF, or Child Care
- Familiarity with eligibility determination and benefit calculations
- Familiarity with APIs, interfaces, and databases/SQL
- Familiarity with incident-management tools such as Jira
Expected Deliverables
- Documented incident analysis, root-cause findings, code fixes or recommended
remediation, and validation results in accordance with project standards
- Timely incident status updates
- Defect documentation and technical analysis
- Identification of recurring issues or improvement opportunities
