Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join an enterprise financial-services technology team in Wilmington, DE.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI development, DAX, Power Query, SQL, data modeling and enterprise reporting. The candidate should be capable of translating business requirements into scalable, interactive dashboards and actionable business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

• Develop complex DAX calculations, measures and KPIs.

• Use Power Query for data extraction, transformation and preparation.

• Build and optimize data models for enterprise reporting.

• Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and transform data.

• Publish, manage and maintain reports using Power BI Service.

• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and appropriate data access controls.

• Troubleshoot report performance and improve dashboard efficiency.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.

• Ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability of business intelligence reports.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

• Advanced DAX and Power Query skills.

• Strong SQL knowledge.

• Experience in data modeling and report development.

• Experience developing interactive dashboards and enterprise reports.

• Understanding of Row-Level Security (RLS) and data security.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
