Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Provide initial technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution and maintain accurate records.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software for manufacturing workstations.
• Assist with user account management, password resets, and access control for various manufacturing applications.
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate IT teams or external vendors for advanced support.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of specialized manufacturing software and shop floor applications.
• Conduct routine system checks and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of manufacturing IT infrastructure.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware issues (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers, shop floor equipment) and basic network connectivity.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems or other industrial control systems.
• Familiarity with ERP software commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS).
• Basic understanding of networking for industrial environments (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in an operational technology (OT) environment.
