Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing software and hardware.
- Resolve IT issues related to production machinery and operational technology (OT) systems.
- Document, track, and monitor help desk requests using a ticketing system.
- Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance on plant floor systems.
- Assist with network connectivity issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Support end-users with general IT inquiries and provide training on common applications.
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT staff or specialized teams.
Recommended Qualifications- Associate's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware (e.g., PCs, printers, industrial terminals) and software issues (e.g., Windows OS, MS Office, ERP systems).
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi) and basic server administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse users on a production floor.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with PLC or robotic systems.
- Familiarity with ERP software in a manufacturing context.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices for service management.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
