Description
We are looking for an experienced ERP/SCM/CRM/BI Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Hilliard, Ohio. This role involves managing comprehensive testing strategies and ensuring seamless integration of business systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain system efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute detailed test scenarios based on end-to-end business processes, such as order processing, production, shipping, and invoicing.
Maintain and organize a structured repository of test scripts to ensure coverage across all business workflows.
Coordinate regression testing cycles, ensuring system stability after configuration changes or system conversions.
Facilitate user acceptance testing and conference room pilot sessions to validate system functionality.
Map current business workflows against future processes in cloud-based systems like Microsoft Dynamics.
Track and manage defects, collaborating with developers and consultants to resolve issues effectively.
Work closely with departments such as finance, production, warehouse, and sales to validate operational scenarios.
Prepare realistic test data sets, including orders, customers, and inventory, to support scenario testing.
Develop and present dashboards and reports that summarize testing progress and outcomes.
Leverage expertise in ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics or Business Central, to optimize integrated workflows.
Requirements
Proficiency in client-side scripting and ability to create robust test scenarios.
Strong skills in documenting business requirements and translating them into actionable test plans.
Experience with configuration management and maintaining test catalogs.
Knowledge of API development and its role in system integrations.
Hands-on experience in Salesforce development and familiarity with ERP systems.
Ability to prepare and stage realistic test data for complex scenarios.
Excellent coordination skills to work across multiple departments and ensure effective communication.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools and processes for efficient issue resolution.
