Microsoft Systems Engineer passionate about automation, system design, and delivering innovative solutions. This role focuses on engineering and integrating advanced software systems for mission-critical defense operations.
What You'll Do:- Automate system administration tasks and troubleshoot complex issues
- Develop scripts to detect and resolve anomalies in datacenter environments
- Create automated test cases and generate reports
- Design and optimize system architectures for efficiency and sustainability
- Support and maintain Microsoft enterprise products (Exchange, SQL, SharePoint)
- Prepare technical briefs and collaborate with engineering review teams
What You Bring:- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering with automation focus
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server and enterprise products
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, AWS) and Agile methodologies
Bonus Points For:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 10+ years of systems engineering experience
- Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Ansible, and scripting languages (Bash/Python)
- Certifications: Microsoft, Red Hat, CISSP, ITIL, Scrum/Agile
