Top Requirements:
  • 2+ years senior-level SRE experience leading/operating SRE functions.
  • 2+ years Autosys and Oracle experience.
  • 2+ years supporting applications on Kubernetes / OpenShift and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong observability tooling experience (AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, Aternity).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence mid-to-senior management.
  • Plusses:
  • Financial/banking industry experience.
  • Ability to automate, architect solutions, and proactively troubleshoot.
  • Experience balancing SRE and application support responsibilities.
  • Job Summary:

    In this contingent Systems Operations Engineering assignment, the engineer will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact across Systems Operations Engineering while supporting large-scale planning efforts. This Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role focuses on driving reliability, automation, observability, and performance for mission-critical applications and platforms. The position requires analyzing multi-faceted technical challenges, evaluating unprecedented factors, and resolving complex issues using deep functional expertise and compliance knowledge. The engineer will collaborate strategically with client personnel and deliver engineering solutions that enhance reliability and reduce operational toil.
    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    Define and manage SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets with stakeholders.

    Build and enhance observability, telemetry, and monitoring using tools such as AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and Aternity.

    Identify and implement automation opportunities to eliminate toil and improve reliability.

    Lead production readiness efforts, including NFR validation and Permit to Operate processes.

    Support mission-critical applications, resolving operational issues and escalating when needed.

    Operate and support workflows using Autosys and Oracle.

    Support services deployed on Kubernetes/OpenShift and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

    Provide technical leadership and influence across middle and senior management.

    Participate in SRE rotations, including periodic weekend or late-shift support (every 4-5 weeks).
