We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications. This role involves collaborating with various teams to identify and prioritize requirements, developing best practices, and conducting technical analysis to resolve production issues. The position requires a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java and Python applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements.
- Develop and implement best practices for software development.
- Participate in code reviews with the team and other stakeholders.
- Conduct technical analysis to create solutions for production issues.
- Utilize AI technologies, including RAG and LLMs, to deliver business value.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of demonstrable experience in Python development. Experience with Java is a plus.
Technical Skills:- Strong knowledge of Python and web API development frameworks such as Spring, REST APIs, and RESTEASY.
- Working knowledge of database technologies (Redis and Oracle); experience with vector databases is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, including RAG, LLMs, Generative AI (GPT, LlamaIndex, LangChain).
- Expertise in technical areas including programming, network administration, and software configuration.
- Experience with IT project management methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Azure is a significant advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as Java Certified Professional (OCP).
- Experience with Nvidia Triton servers for LLMs.
- Knowledge of container or cloud computing technologies like Red Hat OpenShift or Azure.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with CI/CD DevOps practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker).
- Experience with OpenShift Container Platform.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $60.00 to $65.06 per hour. Please note that this pay range is a good faith estimate that may be impacted by factors such as the scope of the role, the candidate's qualifications, and the work location.
