We're looking for a
Data Engineer II to join a growing data and analytics team and help design, build, and support scalable data solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex data ecosystems and modern analytics technologies.
Education
- Bachelor's degree required
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field preferred
- Advanced degree is a plus
Key Skills & Experience
Data Engineering & Architecture- Experience with batch and real-time data processing frameworks
- Strong understanding of data modeling, schemas, data access, and storage techniques
- Hands-on experience with data quality tools
- Proven ability to create functional and technical designs for data engineering and analytics solutions
- Experience working with diverse data sources and schema types
Big Data & Analytics- Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, and Spark
- Experience developing and supporting statistical models and AI/ML solutions using Python and/or R
On-Premises Technologies- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting data and analytics solutions using:
- MSBI (SSIS / SSAS)
- Informatica
- Oracle GoldenGate
- SQL, Oracle, SQL Server
Cloud Technologies (Microsoft Azure)- 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-based data solutions using:
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Synapse
- Azure Key Vault
- Power BI
- Python
Modern Engineering Practices- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and OpenShift
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering data solutions using APIs and Web Services
