Duration: 12 months

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to lead and guide our teams. The ideal candidate will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, support team delivery by removing impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires collaboration with technology, business, and risk partners to ensure the successful delivery of financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate core Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Guide Agile teams on Scrum practices, scaling frameworks, and the adoption of an Agile mindset.
  • Ensure team adherence to compliance, audit, and risk-management expectations.
  • Remove impediments and coordinate the resolution of cross-team or organizational roadblocks.
  • Partner with Product Owners to maintain healthy, prioritized backlogs aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Protect the team from scope creep, conflicting priorities, and unnecessary disruptions.
  • Utilize metrics to improve team performance, including velocity, throughput, predictability, and quality.
  • Coach team members to become self-organizing, high-performing, and accountable.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and impediments to leadership with transparency.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 3-7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, preferably in banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry. This includes experience with cross-functional teams (technology, product, risk, compliance, operations) and a strong familiarity with software delivery lifecycles (SDLC) and DevOps environments.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Agile lifecycle tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), Rally, or VersionOne. A conceptual understanding of technical concepts such as APIs, data flows, integration, and cloud environments is required.

Behavioral Skills: Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities. The role requires the ability to coach teams and leaders, strong problem-solving skills, and the capacity to navigate complex organizational environments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
  • Background supporting digital transformation, modernization, or cloud migration initiatives.
  • Experience implementing process improvements within financial regulatory constraints.
