Summary

We are seeking an experienced VoIP Engineer to support large-scale migration initiatives from legacy Avaya telephony systems to modern platforms including Microsoft Teams VoIP and Cisco Unified Communications. This role requires deep technical expertise in voice systems, hands-on migration experience, and the ability to work across enterprise-level environments.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Lead and support migration from Avaya PBX systems to:
- Microsoft Teams VoIP
- Cisco Unified Communications platforms
Architect, deploy, and maintain enterprise VoIP solutions in production environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless migration and deployment
Support Webex Contact Center implementations and integrations
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of voice systems
Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization of VoIP infrastructure
Work with stakeholders across departments for large-scale transformation initiatives

🔹 Required Experience

5+ years experience migrating from Avaya to Microsoft Teams VoIP
10+ years experience migrating from Avaya to Cisco VoIP solutions
Hands-on experience with enterprise VoIP systems in production environments
Strong consulting or implementation background in telephony solutions
Experience supporting large-scale voice system migrations

🔹 Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of VoIP technologies and SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)
Experience with enterprise telephony systems

- Quality of Service (QoS)
- Network security
