Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This dynamic role involves overseeing complex construction projects, ensuring they are completed within designated timelines and budgets, and maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee project activities to ensure goals are met within established timeframes and budgets.
Monitor and manage project schedules and costs, ensuring financial performance aligns with objectives.
Implement project plans with a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
Lead communication and collaboration efforts with subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners to ensure seamless project delivery.
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering productivity and effective teamwork.
Analyze and mitigate risks to maintain project momentum and prevent delays.
Support proposal efforts and contribute to securing new projects for the organization.
Collaborate with project superintendents to deliver high-quality workmanship.
Address customer needs and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Utilize project management software to effectively plan, execute, and track project progress.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience managing construction projects from start to finish.
Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills to manage diverse teams.
Proven expertise in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting for construction projects.
Ability to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum and Atlassian Jira is a plus.
