Software Engineer III

Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer III to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of software solutions while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to best practices. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about engineering excellence and collaboration within a dynamic environment.

Overview

Build and maintain robust, scalable, secure web applications in a fast-paced environment. Work cross-functionally to deliver both frontend and backend solutions. Core scope is React (frontend) + .NET (backend), building and optimizing REST APIs, and leveraging cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web apps: React JS (frontend) + .NET (backend)
• Build/maintain RESTful APIs supporting web and desktop applications
• Apply component-based React patterns; use TypeScript and modern JavaScript async concepts
• Implement modern CSS techniques/frameworks; optimize UI performance
• Performance test browser-based applications
• Work in Agile/Scrum
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed
• Participate in design reviews; enforce best practices
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and security best practices
• Use CI/CD and source control tooling (mentions Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket)

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in CS/Engineering (or related)
• 5+ years software dev experience, strong focus on web development/front-end
• Proficiency in .NET and React
• Strong experience with REST APIs and API design
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with release management and SDLC
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication/collaboration

Preferred

• CI/CD pipelines + automated testing
• Containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Agile familiarity (explicitly called out)
