Senior Director of Medical Channel Strategy & Growth
Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Medical Channel Strategy & Growth to lead the development and expansion of a new medical-focused revenue channel. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and entrepreneurial leader to build a high-impact business segment from the ground up while collaborating across product, marketing, regulatory, sales, and research teams.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can execute, with deep experience in healthcare-related industries and a strong track record of driving revenue growth through new channels, partnerships, and brand expansion.
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
Salary Conversion: $180,000 – $200,000 base salary
Key Responsibilities
Medical Channel Development
- Launch and scale a new medical-focused channel targeting the 65+ patient demographic.
- Develop sales strategies and engagement models for physicians, ACOs, healthcare providers, and patient populations.
Integrated Medicine Channel Growth
- Revitalize and expand existing partnerships within the integrated medicine community, including massage therapists, acupuncturists, and wellness practitioners.
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and drive revenue within these channels.
Strategic Growth & Leadership
- Build and lead a medical-focused sales and partnership organization.
- Manage channel strategy, revenue planning, and P&L performance.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with medical distributors, clinics, healthcare organizations, and professional associations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, marketing, regulatory, sales, and R&D teams to ensure alignment across initiatives.
- Help translate research and clinical studies into educational and marketing materials relevant to physicians and healthcare providers.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in brand management, commercial leadership, or sales strategy.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, wellness, nutraceuticals, or other regulated industries.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth, expand market channels, and scale emerging business segments.
- Strong experience engaging medical professionals, healthcare providers, and clinical decision-makers.
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and strategic growth leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in CBD, nutraceuticals, or pharmaceutical markets.
- Experience working with or supporting Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs.
- Experience building or scaling new sales channels or emerging divisions.
