Description: Our client is currently seeking a Support Engineering Data Specialist 2

Work Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Shifts: 1st shift Time/Time Zone: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description:

- Supports developing, analyzing collecting, and storing various system support technical data elements and specifications for evaluation and assists with making recommendations.

- Supports providing recommendations on product supportability and establishing product supportability operational maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for a single equipment subsystem.

- Assists with identifying and analyzing logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and report.

- Supports determining spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for a single customer and contract type.

- Participates in preparing technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/ components.

- Supports reviewing aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish DMSMS Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive DMSMS programs to proactively address potential material shortages and obsolescence issues.

- Gather Engineering Data: Collect and analyze engineering data necessary for conducting thorough DMSMS analyses.

- Identify DMSMS Risks and Issues: Monitor and identify risks and issues related to DMSMS that may impact program performance and aircraft readiness.

- Evaluate Impact: Assess the potential impact of identified DMSMS risks and issues on current and future operations.

- Develop Recommendations and Roadmaps: Create actionable recommendations and strategic roadmaps for DMSMS resolution, ensuring alignment with program objectives and stakeholder requirements.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex engineering data.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in project management and problem-solving methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in DMSMS and obsolescence management, preferably within the aerospace or defense industry.

- Familiarity with military aircraft systems and modification processes.

- Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.

- Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance standards in the aerospace industry.
