Location: Columbus, OH (Agency headquarters; position is remote-eligible).
Work Arrangement: Remote (Must be available for occasional onsite meetings as needed).
Employment Type: Contract.
Interview Mode: Virtual via Microsoft Teams.

Core Responsibilities

AI Solution Delivery: Design and implement complex AI solutions with a heavy emphasis on Copilot Studio, Azure AI, and Gemini.
Enterprise Collaboration: Partner with Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver robust data and application architectures.
Technical Advisory: Serve as a primary technical advisor to management, translating complex engineering perspectives into actionable system requirements.
Application Lifecycle: Oversee Tier 3 application support, including the assessment and execution of critical application upgrades and security patches.
Risk Management: Identify and evaluate technical risks, participating in mitigation and control activities to ensure enterprise stability.
Strategic Documentation: Create conceptual and detailed technical design documents, operational strategies, and implementation plans.

Required Experience & Skills

AI Expertise: 5+ years of experience in AI development with a focus on Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Power Platform, and M365 environments.
Architecture Delivery: 5+ years collaborating with Enterprise Architecture on data and application delivery.
Advanced Support: 5+ years overseeing Tier 3 support activities and executing enterprise-level application patches.
Risk & Mitigation: 5+ years of experience identifying and evaluating technical risks and implementing control activities.
Leadership: 5+ years serving as a technical advisor to management and providing software engineering leadership.
