Job Title: Sr. Terraform Developer
Location: Dallas, TX or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

The Senior Terraform Developer will:

• Architect, develop, and maintain Terraform modules supporting the initial Snowflake platform buildout for Bank of America.
• Create reusable Terraform templates that enable repeatable Snowflake deployment for additional banks leveraging the centralized IAC framework.
• Integrate Terraform provisioning workflows with existing CI/CD pipelines and governance models within Bank of America.
• Collaborate closely with cloud engineering, data platform, DevOps, and security teams to ensure alignment with enterprise controls and regulatory policies.
• Implement infrastructure integration patterns required for Snowflake including networking, security policies, authentication/authorization, and supporting cloud components.
• Contribute to the definition of IaC standards and best practices within the bank s global engineering ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and refine Terraform code for performance, maintainability, and multitenant use.
• Produce documentation and handoff materials enabling downstream teams to onboard and use the IaC components.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5 7+ years of hands-on Terraform development, including creation of complex Terraform modules and multi environment IaC patterns.
• Strong experience building cloud native IaC foundations in large, regulated enterprises (preferably financial services).
• Background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) including networking, IAM, policies, and security integration.
• Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Familiarity with Snowflake infrastructure requirements networking, access management, roles, storage integration, etc.
• Strong understanding of configuration management, secret management, and compliance driven infrastructure design.
• Ability to work within Global Services delivery frameworks, collaborating with distributed engineering teams and client stakeholders.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Prior experience implementing Snowflake via IaC at scale.
• Experience working within Bank of America or similarly complex financial institutions.
• Terraform Certification
• Knowledge of policy-as-code, FinOps practices, or enterprise cloud governance.
