Financial Systems Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a growing professional services organization in Miami, FL, is seeking an experienced Financial Systems Manager to oversee core accounting operations while helping drive the continued modernization of its financial systems, reporting, and processes.

Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting & Systems: Oversee accounting operations and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data across financial systems
* Financial Systems Optimization: Support the optimization, implementation, and ongoing improvement of ERP, accounting, and financial reporting platforms
* Process Automation:Identify opportunities to automate manual accounting and reporting processes, improve workflows, and increase operational efficiency
* Data & Reporting: Partner with technology and business stakeholders to improve financial reporting, dashboards, data visibility, and executive-level insights
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and leverage financial systems and analytics to evaluate performance and identify variances
* Systems Integration & Data Integrity: Help ensure accurate financial data across interconnected business applications and support integration initiatives involving finance systems
* Compliance & Controls: Maintain appropriate financial controls and ensure compliance with applicable tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements
* Technology Partnership: Collaborate with IT, systems, analytics, and other cross-functional teams on financial technology initiatives and business transformation projects
* Audit & Risk Management: Coordinate external audits, evaluate financial risks, and ensure appropriate system and process controls are maintained

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Financial Systems Manager, Accounting Manager, or similar financial leadership professional
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls
* Hands-on experience with ERP, accounting, or financial management systems
* Experience with financial systems implementations, upgrades, integrations, or optimization initiatives** strongly preferred
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial reporting, analytics, or BI tools
* Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process automation and operational improvements
* Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Ability to effectively partner with both Finance and Technology teams and translate business requirements into scalable processes and solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
