Responsibilities: - Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze multifaceted engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Contribute to resolving complex situations while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Collaborate strategically with client personnel.
- Support existing SmallTalk applications and modernize legacy systems to Java.
- Act as a Lead, organizing projects and leveraging extensive experience.
Qualifications: - 5 years of Specialty Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 10+ years of SmallTalk development experience.
- Ability to package and deploy applications built with SmallTalk in non-production environments.
- Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server as a database is preferred.
- Clear understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques and design principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking.
- Demonstrated ability to learn business processes quickly.

Pay Range: $80 - $90
