Power Platform Administrator

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Administrator to own the administration, governance, operational support, security, and continuous improvement of an enterprise Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. This role is primarily focused on platform administration and governance, not Power Apps development.

Responsibilities

Power Platform Administration

• Administer Microsoft Power Platform environments across development, test, and production.
• Provision, configure, maintain, and retire environments.
• Administer Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and related services.
• Manage tenant and environment configuration.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, performance, licensing, and usage.
• Manage environment backup, restore, recovery, copying, and upgrades.
• Maintain platform standards, operating procedures, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot environment and platform-level problems.
• Support enterprise Power Platform operational requirements.

Governance and Security

• Establish and enforce Power Platform governance standards.
• Configure and maintain Data Loss Prevention policies.
• Govern connectors and custom connectors.
• Manage Dataverse security roles, permissions, teams, sharing, and access.
• Review applications and flows for compliance and supportability.
• Conduct platform audits.
• Support security and compliance initiatives.
• Work with information security and infrastructure teams to remediate platform risks.
• Promote secure and scalable Power Platform development practices.

Application Lifecycle Management

• Support solution deployment between development, test, and production environments.
• Administer Power Platform ALM processes.
• Troubleshoot deployment pipelines.
• Diagnose solution dependency and configuration issues.
• Support managed solution deployment.
• Work with environment variables and connection references.
• Support source-control and release-management processes.
• Establish repeatable application promotion practices.
