Description: Our client is currently seeking a EDI Systems Analyst
EDI Systems AnalystEaston, PA -18040 About the RoleAs an EDI Systems Analyst, you will support global Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementations, ensuring seamless integration between business processes and technical systems. You'll translate business requirements into technical specifications, manage daily EDI operations, and lead projects that digitize and optimize workflows. This role requires deep expertise in EDI systems, SAP integration, and communication protocols, along with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities- Manage daily global EDI operations, including production support, scheduling, and monitoring document transmissions.
- Identify and implement process improvements across EDI systems and interfaces.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Configure and maintain AS2, VAN, (S)FTP, and HTTP(S) connections, including SSL certificate updates.
- Design and maintain mapping specifications for SAP ? external applications ? EDI formats.
- Lead customer digitization projects (e.g., autoload implementation to reduce manual orders).
- Collaborate with SAP business analysts and key business users to resolve issues and design new processes.
- Build, test, and maintain system interfaces (SAP, BI, Ecommerce).
- Develop documentation, training programs, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Provide training and technical guidance to team members and consultants.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or related field (preferred).
- 7-10 years of experience in EDI systems and interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with Seeburger implementation, configuration, setup, and BIC Mapping Designer (prem/cloud).
- SAP experience in supporting and setting up EDI partners and tables.
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols (AS2, VAN, (S)FTP, HTTP(S)).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and advanced EDI interfaces.
- Knowledge of process/data modeling and data architecture methodologies.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a matrix environment.
- Strong vendor and stakeholder relationship management skills.
