We are seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join a high-performing team dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of financial software systems. In this role, you will play a critical part in the development life cycle by creating new automated test cases and maintaining our existing test suite. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in structured development environments and possesses a deep expertise in modern automation frameworks.

responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Automated Development: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.
- Maintenance: Update and maintain existing automated test artifacts within Visual Studio to ensure continued accuracy and performance.
- Quality Assurance: Support the broader goals of the QA department, ensuring applications meet enterprise-level standards.
- Environment Management: Work within structured environments (Development, Test, and Production) and manage code through established source control methodologies.
- API Testing: Perform thorough testing of SOAP and REST web services.
qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated software automation experience
- Core Framework: Extensive professional experience with Playwright
- Languages: Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium and Appium.
- Expertise in SQL for data verification and backend testing.
- Experience with the NUnit testing framework.
- Methodology: Solid understanding of structured application development life cycles and environment segregation.
- Tools: Proficient in creating and maintaining artifacts within the Visual Studio ecosystem and using source control.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: ISTQB Foundation and/or ISTQB Test Automation Engineer.
- Mindset: A continuous learner who is excited to embrace new processes and techniques to improve framework efficiency.
