Role Overview
This position coordinates, designs, builds, and deploys effective test automation strategies for testing efforts across multiple software applications. The role involves working with stakeholders to develop test suites that validate functional correctness and performance capabilities. The objective is to provide high-quality software products to both external and internal customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, design, build, test, and deploy test automation strategies and procedures.
- Design, expand, and implement testing automation frameworks and methodologies.
- Translate existing manual regression test scripts into automated test scripts.
- Execute various types of automation testing, including performance, smoke, and full regression.
- Maintain automated testing databases and ensure the use of quality data.
- Report test outcomes by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and displaying data.
- Review requirements, specifications, and other project documentation to maintain automated test scripts.
- Ensure standard methodologies support the delivery of quality products that meet client specifications.
- Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, a business-related field, or comparable experience.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of software automation testing experience is required. This includes demonstrated experience in performing both manual and automated application testing.
Technical Skills: Experience with test management and automated testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Playwright, Tricentis QTest, Azure DevOps, and Visual Studio. Advanced knowledge of data analysis, SQL, and C#/.NET or similar programming languages is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Skilled in C#, Selenium WebDriver, and Playwright.
- Knowledge of performance testing and API testing.
- Experience with source control.
- Basic understanding of structured application development methodology and principles.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated pay range for this position is $40.00/hr to $45.00/hr. A comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible employees.
