Location: San Antonio, TX (5 days on-site)

Role Overview
This role works on development projects of varying magnitude and helps ensure testing and implementation are timely and satisfactory. The QA Analyst uses standard methodologies to support the delivery of quality products that meet client specifications with minimal defects, on time and on budget. This position adheres to quality assurance milestones outlined for projects and executes identified activities and processes to ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate on project teams during requirements gathering, design reviews, and the creation of detailed testing scripts and test cases.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of multi-phase testing, including integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Perform ongoing regression testing across multiple applications and systems.
- Maintain testing databases by executing defect tracking, managing regression testing, and validating testing requirements.
- Assist in reporting test outcomes by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, summarizing, and presenting test data.
- Develop and coordinate Test Plans and Test Strategies for assigned testing efforts.
- Organize and assign testing activities to team members and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain adherence to QA standards and methodologies to ensure expected application performance levels are achieved.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, a business-related field, or comparable education or experience.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a large financial institution or comparable environment. Experience with large-scale projects and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Technical Skills: Experience with test management and automated testing tools such as HP Quality Center and Quick Test Professional, or similar solutions. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of structured application development methodologies and principles.
- Experience working in structured environments using separate development, test, and production environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency within testing and QA processes.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr.
