Searching for a Test Automation Engineer with Mobile experience!

$50-$60/hr W2Hybrid:
4 DAYS ONSITE/1 DAY REMOTE weeklyKey Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and enhance mobile test automation scripts using Appium with Java for native and hybrid mobile applications.
- Ensure automated test suites run consistently by monitoring test execution, analyzing results, and promptly reporting and tracking failures.
- Research, evaluate, and implement test automation tools, frameworks, and best practices, and train QA teams in areas such as Test-Driven Development and mobile automation.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors-both onshore and offshore-to define environment needs, select Automation tools, and optimize automation processes.
- Support and advance end-to-end testing methodologies across multiple interconnected applications.
- Work with distributed teams to plan and influence the future direction of QA tooling, frameworks, and technology choices.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and product teams to align project plans, testing schedules, metrics, and release timelines.
- Contribute to CI/CD integration efforts, ensuring automated tests run as part of the build and deployment pipeline.
Required Skills & Experience- 3+ years of mobile application development experience.
- 4+ years building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
- 5+ years designing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Hands-on programming experience in Java or another object-oriented language.
- Strong understanding of mobile development concepts for iOS and/or Android.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, MTM, Zephyr, or HP ALM.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple QA initiatives across distributed teams and overlapping release cycles.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and modern testing practices.
- Familiarity with XCUI Test, Espresso, Swift, or Kotlin (preferred).
- Financial services or trading industry experience (a plus).
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across geographically dispersed teams.
