The Account Executive (AE) acts as a principal advisor for Health Data Mover''s (HDM) valued clients, cultivating strong relationships, ensuring consistent on-site engagement, and delivering value by strategically aligning the customer''s business goals and objectives with HDM''s suite of services and solutions. The AE will possess deep knowledge of the Healthcare IT industry, demonstrating an assertive approach in the discovery of new business opportunities. The role is characterized by a proactive pursuit of potential clients and a concerted effort to grow HDM''s service lines. The AE will fervently represent and advocate for HDM''s Mission, Vision, and Values, doing so with passion, positivity, and unwavering commitment.
Essential Responsibilities
β Focus 80% on hunting new logos and expanding business within new accounts.
β Dedicate 20% to farming existing accounts and nurturing relationships with current buyers
β Attend client-facing events, including dinners, lunches, networking and sporting events
β Align closely with C-suite stakeholders on projects, acquisitions/divestitures, budgets, and key objectives
β Build strong, collaborative relationships with partner AEs (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, Meditech, Epic) and leverage partnerships effectively
β Drive proactive business development through strategic channel partnerships and industry alignment
β Mentor and support the growth of Account Managers
β Maintain a professional presence at all times, including appearance, communication, and representation of the company
β Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term success
β Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions
β Conduct regular client check-ins to understand evolving needs and uncover upsell or cross-sell opportunities
β Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to foster loyalty and retention
β Monitor client health metrics and proactively address risks to renewals or expansion opportunities

β Account Executive (local or regional) travel is often and should be consistent and on-going to grow and maintain deep/close client relationships.
β Company required travel includes but not limited to major HIT conferences, regional/sponsorship events, and an annual company conference.

Education, Experience and Qualifications
β Candidate must reside in assigned region
β Bachelorβs degree (MBA preferred)
β 5β7 years of experience selling IT consulting services to healthcare organizations, with a proven track record in selling Epic service lines.
β Established healthcare CXO, IT Director/Manager relationships.
β Strong business acumen, professional demeanor, executive presence.
β Expertise in EMR/ERP applications, encompassing a deep understanding of the entire lifecycle - from implementation and upgrades to support and optimization. This includes proficiency in Data Management, Integration, Project Management, and both Clinical and Business Application services.
β Ability to clearly define HDMβs key business differentiators and unique value proposition.
β Independently identify, qualify, and drive opportunities towards successful conclusions.
β Maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities at least four times (4x) established quota.
β Own the creation, coordination, and delivery of customized proposals in response to client RFP and solution requests.
β Accurately document and maintain customer leads, communications, contact information and account opportunity plans within the CRM system.
β Completion of previous sales and professional development training.
β Represent HDM at industry conferences and events.
