Position Summary
The Account Manager (AM) is a key member of the Client Services team, reporting to the SVP of Client Services. The AM will possess deep knowledge of the Healthcare IT industry, demonstrating an assertive approach in the discovery of new business opportunities. The role is characterized by a proactive pursuit of potential clients and a concerted effort to grow HDM''s signature service lines.
Essential Responsibilities
80% hunting new logos and expansionary new business at current logos
20% farming current logos/current buyers/managing account
Must achieve key metrics provided in offer letter/and annual compensation plan o Quota
o Billable headcount
o Sales meetings
o Client site visits
o Validated opportunities
o Client satisfaction measures
Must conduct the following activities and adhere to standards (but not limited to the following): o On-site, in-person weekly ensuring deep and wide customer relationships
o Dinners, lunches, sporting events, networking events
o Must build close working relationships with Partner AEs (Workday, ServiceNow, Meditech, Epic, etc.). Leverage appropriately

Achieve annual revenue quota as established by Leadership
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs as established by Leadership
Follow established policies set forth by leadership for accurately and completely documenting and tracking activity and work completed

Work Environment and Physical Demands
Home Office Setup: Ensuring you have a suitable and secure workspace equipped with a reliable internet connection and necessary office equipment.
Standard business hours. Occasional evening and weekend hours.
Must reside within 30 miles of a major U.S. airport.
Travel Required
Account Manager (local or regional) travel is often and should be consistent and on-going to grow and maintain deep/close client relationships.
Company required travel includes but not limited to major HIT conferences, regional/sponsorship events, and an annual company conference.

Education and Experience
Candidate must reside in assigned region
Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
3+ years’ experience in selling IT consulting services to healthcare organizations.
Established healthcare CXO, IT Director/Manager relationships.
Strong business acumen, professional demeanor, executive presence.
Expertise in EMR/ERP applications, encompassing a deep understanding of the entire lifecycle - from implementation and upgrades to support and optimization. This includes proficiency in Data Management, Integration, Project Management, and both Clinical and Business Application services.
