OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Tier 1 Desktop Support Technician to provide frontline technical assistance to end users. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and foundational IT knowledge, responsible for resolving basic technical issues and ensuring a smooth user experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, including login issues, application errors, and connectivity problems
- Install, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, password resets, and access requests
- Log, track, and update incidents using an IT ticketing system
- Deliver support via phone, email, remote tools, and in-person interactions
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Tier 2 support teams
- Maintain documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutions
- Support end users with Office 365 applications and standard business tools
Qualifications- 0-2 years of IT support or help desk/desktop support experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and common business applications
- Familiarity with hardware setup and troubleshooting
- Exposure to Active Directory or similar user management tools is a plus
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar) preferred

Preferred- Associate's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft fundamentals

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
