Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Eagan, MN 55122
Contract | 6+ Months
Hybrid - 2 Days Onsite 3 Days Remote
Summary

This role supports a high-impact, enterprise-level analytics initiative focused on building an affordability dashboard that enables data-driven decision-making across the organization. The dashboard will deliver actionable insights using key metrics, leading indicators, and performance measures to track progress toward affordability goals.

You will play a hands-on role in data architecture, data integration, and analytics enablement, working closely with business partners, IT teams, and vendors to ensure high-quality delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to foundational analytics capabilities that will guide future strategic initiatives.
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data integration roles
  • Strong experience with SQL and data analysis
  • Hands-on experience with data integration solution development
  • Knowledge of data warehouse design and modeling (3rd Normal Form and/or Dimensional Modeling)
  • Experience with user story development in an Agile environment
  • Ability to design, test, and deploy data solutions supporting KPIs and analytics use cases
  • Experience executing and maintaining manual and/or automated test cases
  • Ability to analyze test results and document defects using incident management processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical concepts
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional and enterprise teams
  • Self-driven, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Qualification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with data warehouse or big data platforms
  • Hands-on exposure to AWS cloud technologies, including ETL/ELT processes and orchestration
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
  • Knowledge of the healthcare or health insurance domain
  • Working knowledge of UNIX environments, shell scripting, and job schedulers (e.g., StoneBranc
