Description We are seeking a
Network Security Engineer to support and maintain enterprise security infrastructure while providing advanced troubleshooting and operational support.
Responsibilities:- Administer and maintain network security tools and platforms
- Perform escalated troubleshooting for complex network/security issues
- Configure and deploy security devices and services (firewalls, email/web security, etc.)
- Manage SLAs and ensure timely resolution of incidents
- Perform maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle management of security systems
- Communicate updates and resolutions to internal teams and customers
- Follow change management processes for all configurations and updates
- Collaborate with vendors on implementations and new technologies
- Conduct deep-dive diagnostics and escalate issues when needed
Requirements Required Qualifications:- 4+ years in a network/security support or engineering role
- 2+ years of hands-on Cisco troubleshooting experience
- Strong understanding of network security principles and protocols
- Experience with troubleshooting across network/security environments
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:- CCNA (CCNP highly preferred)
- Experience with Cloudflare, Cisco Umbrella, and Cisco IronPort
- Knowledge of Zero Trust and least privilege security models
- Experience with certificate management
- Understanding of internet security and data privacy standards
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
