Summary

One of our government sector clients is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead strategic technology initiatives supporting modernization, Cloud Smart strategy execution, AI/ML, Generative AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and digital transformation programs. This role will partner with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and technology teams to develop enterprise architecture strategies, business capability models, customer journey maps, and technology roadmaps while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and enterprise standards. 

Job Title: Senior Enterprise Architect (AI, Cloud & Digital Transformation)

Location: Remote
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Business and IT strategic planning sessions with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Develop enterprise technology strategies, standards, roadmaps, and architecture guidelines.
  • Create and leverage Business Capability Models and Customer Journey Maps.
  • Provide architectural oversight and governance for modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Lead proof-of-concept efforts involving emerging technologies, including Generative AI, Virtual Assistants, and RPA.
  • Conduct technology evaluations, market research, and solution comparison analyses.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define architecture solutions and implementation strategies.
  • Support enterprise architecture domains including business, information, application, and technical architecture.
  • Deliver presentations, technical documentation, and architecture artifacts to executive and technical audiences.
  • Promote innovation through technology research and organizational knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of IT experience with:
    • Enterprise Architecture experience
    • Solution Architecture experience
  • Experience developing:
    • Technology roadmaps and strategic plans
    • Business Capability Models
    • Customer Journey Maps
  • Hands-on experience leading implementations involving:
    • Generative AI
    • Conversational AI / Virtual Assistants
    • Robotic Process Automation (UiPath preferred)
  • Experience providing architecture governance for cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TOGAF Certification.
  • Master's degree.
  • Experience with ABACUS Enterprise Architecture tool.
  • Experience with cloud platforms including:
    • Microsoft Azure
    • AWS
    • Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience with Visio, Lucidchart, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word.
