Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
The Project Lead position for the South Carolina Family Court Case Management System
project will be responsible for the following activities:
• Assume Project Management responsibilities for the transition of the FCCMS Application from SC DSS to SCJB
• Manage and provide guidance to the FCCMS functional team.
• Develop and lead continuing user education programs.
• Lead the functional analysis and design activities for the FCCMS implementation.
• Work with Counties to solve many of the most complex business process changes.
• Manage the defects and quality metrics related to the maintenance of the FCCMS application.
• Participate in the implementation of FCCMS Enhancements
• Analyze vendor business designs and validate functionality meets approved state requirements.
• Lead the turnover of the FCCMS Application to another organization.
• Coordinate with state subject matter experts to confirm system functionality meets end user expectations.
• Supervise the testing team in developing scenarios, scripts, and executing as necessary.
• Triage incidents discovered during all phases of testing. These include defects, design issues, and functional scope changes. This includes coordinating with vendor development staff to communicate issues and provide potential solutions.
• Review all relevant vendor documentation including but not limited to business requirements documentation, test plans, technical design documentation.
• Consult with the Family Court Clerk of Court Committee to determine enhancement priorities.
• Assist in leading the requirements, design, and testing efforts for the E-Filing initiative for SC DSS.
Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):
• 7+ years of experience using and configuring the Family Court Case Management System (FCCMS)
• 5+ years of experience designing and documenting software solutions.
• 5+ years of experience managing and defining software requirements.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex software implementations.
Preferred Skills (rank in order of Importance):
• Expert understanding of testing concepts such as Component Testing, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing and Acceptance Testing
• Previous experience managing software testing, and software development teams.
• Ability to read and understand data models and to use SQL to query data.
• Experience managing a project during the Maintenance and Operations phase.
• Experience in E-Filing Systems
Required Education:
BA or BS Degree or equivalent work experience

• Strong Analytical Skills
• Strong Ability to communicate (orally and written) effectively with technical, non-technical staff, customers/stakeholders (State and Federal) and executives.
Additional Skills:
• Ability to use MS Office, SharePoint, MS Teams, Visual Studios, Microsoft Test Manager, and Microsoft Project effectively.
