We are seeking an Production Support (Informatica/Datastage) to manage the day-to-day operations of a technology platform. This role involves identifying production issues, creating incident and enhancement tickets, and communicating with development and business operations teams. The position requires leading end-to-end maintenance of production services and ensuring performance SLAs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end maintenance responsibility for all production services related to the technology platform.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the technology platform, including Informatica and Datastage.
- Actively engage in and lead the resolution of production support issues and incidents, taking ownership of escalations.
- Perform troubleshooting, analysis, research, and resolution using advanced query and programming skills.
- Conduct root cause analysis and identify mitigations or risks for production issues.
- Ensure production and performance Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Create and enhance administrative, operational, and technical policies and procedures.
- Serve as an escalation point for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints, and service requests.
- Provide on-call support for off-hours and weekends as part of a rotation.
- Work with Technology Infrastructure and Development Testing teams to support releases and upgrades.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of relevant IT experience in roles such as Production Support, ITIL, Release Support, or Technical Implementations.
Technical Skills:- Proven knowledge of Informatica and/or Datastage.
- Strong operating system knowledge in Unix and Windows, including scripting skills.
- Experience with Oracle, DB2, and PL/SQL query performance tuning.
- Experience with widely used monitoring or scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of event-driven and schedule-driven batch processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Kafka, or Python.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and navigate ambiguity.
