About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced technology leader to drive IT portfolio governance, transformation initiatives, organizational change management, and M&A technology integrations. This role will serve as a strategic partner to the CIO and help ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & PMO Leadership
- Lead IT portfolio governance, project prioritization, planning, and reporting.
- Establish PMO standards, processes, and best practices.
- Facilitate executive governance meetings and steering committees.
Transformation & Change Management
- Lead organizational change management efforts for technology initiatives.
- Develop communication, training, and adoption strategies.
- Drive successful implementation and user adoption of new technologies.
IT Process & Operational Excellence
- Improve IT processes, governance, and service management practices.
- Define KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support audit readiness and operational effectiveness.
M&A Technology Integration
- Lead IT integration activities for acquisitions and divestitures.
- Manage Day 1, Day 30, and Day 100 integration plans.
- Coordinate infrastructure, applications, security, identity, and support transitions.
Financial & Resource Management
- Partner with Finance on budgets, forecasts, and vendor management.
- Monitor resource capacity and technology investment performance.
Leadership
- Build and mentor PMO, OCM, and transformation teams.
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
- 5+ years leading an IT PMO, EPMO, Portfolio Management Office, Transformation Office, or IT Business Operations function.
- Proven success in enterprise program management, portfolio governance, executive reporting, and delivery assurance.
- Demonstrated experience leading organizational change management initiatives for large-scale technology programs.
- Strong background in IT operating model transformation, process improvement, ITSM, governance, controls, and performance management.
- Experience supporting CIO, executive leadership, and Board-level reporting and decision-making.
- Bachelor''s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading M&A technology integrations, carve-outs, or divestitures.
- Background in acquisition-driven, multi-site, or private-equity-backed organizations.
- Working knowledge of:
- ERP and CRM platforms
- Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
- Identity & Access Management (Entra ID, Okta, Active Directory)
- Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Operations
- Data & Analytics Platforms
- ServiceNow and ITSM platforms
- Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies
Preferred Certifications
- PMP, PgMP, or PfMP
- SAFe and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Prosci / ADKAR
- ITIL v4
- Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- M&A Integration Certification
