Role Summary
The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the consistent and predictable delivery of technology-driven business outcomes. Operating as a central point of accountability, the role involves aligning teams, resources, and processes across multiple domains to support efficient execution of IT initiatives. This leadership position partners closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to optimize delivery systems and improve overall performance while adhering to organizational priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
  • Optimize and rebalance resources across development, quality assurance, data, and Salesforce teams to accommodate changing project demands.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve delivery system performance metrics such as sprint reliability, throughput, and cycle time.
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate cross-domain conflicts, dependencies, and resource constraints to maintain seamless delivery flows.
  • Standardize, document, and continuously improve delivery processes, operational practices, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Ensure that work is properly staffed, prioritized, and sequenced to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters to ensure consistency and maturity in Agile practices across teams.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) related to delivery performance and overall system health; track and report on these metrics regularly.
  • Provide transparent insights into delivery risks, capacity planning, and system performance to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication across teams and stakeholders to promote alignment and accountability throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in technology delivery, program management, or related roles.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and optimize delivery performance.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Agile delivery tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
  • Demonstrated experience in orchestrating complex delivery environments and driving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to effectively operate remotely with reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, SaaS, or enterprise technology environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) principles and performance management frameworks is a plus.

Publishing Pay Range: $65.00 - $85.00 Hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
