YSI is seeking an Audio-Visual Specialist.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot classroom AV systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on projection and AV equipment.
- Replace projector bulbs, filters, and hardware components.
- Track tickets in AESMP and SharePoint systems.
- Provide 2-hour response / 4-hour resolution for classroom issues.
- Support command ceremonies and special events.
- Maintain accountability of AV equipment and repair parts.
- Interpret signal flow diagrams and schematics.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
Required skills and experience
- Associate s degree in related field OR Three (3) years of AV support experience.
- Classroom AV sustainment Troubleshooting projection systems
- Event support experience preferred
- Certifications: InfoComm International Certification in Audiovisual Technology (required). CTS Installation preferred. Basic Crestron, AMX, Biamp, and Extron training within 120 days of award.
