Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Mobile Field Service Consultant with strong, hands-on expertise in Dynamics 365 Field Service mobile capabilities. This is a niche requirement, and the ideal candidate will have deep experience configuring, customizing, and optimizing the mobile field service application for real-world field operations.

This role will focus on enabling mobile workforce efficiency, ensuring seamless field operations, and enhancing user experience for technicians using Dynamics 365 in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Dynamics 365 Field Service Mobile solutions

• Customize and optimize the mobile application (Resco / Dynamics 365 Field Service Mobile app)

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements specific to field operations and translate them into scalable mobile solutions

• Configure offline capabilities, sync filters, and mobile workflows for field technicians

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile performance, synchronization, and usability

• Integrate Dynamics 365 Field Service with other enterprise systems where required

• Provide best practices around mobile UX, performance optimization, and field usability

• Support testing, deployment, and end-user training for mobile field service solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service

• Proven expertise in Dynamics 365 Mobile Field Service (Field Service Mobile app / Resco)

• Experience configuring:

  • Mobile forms, views, and dashboards

  • Offline profiles and data synchronization

  • Work orders, bookings, and field operations workflows

• Solid understanding of field service lifecycle (dispatch, scheduling, asset management, etc.)

• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)

• Ability to troubleshoot mobile-specific issues (offline sync, performance, device compatibility)

• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business users

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure integrations or custom APIs

• Prior experience working with distributed field teams (utilities, telecom, healthcare, etc.)

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications

• Exposure to IoT integrations in field service environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Resco Woodford tool customization

• Knowledge of GIS/location-based services in field service

• Familiarity with device management and mobile deployment strategies
