Position: QA Lead / Test Manager (Life Insurance Domain Preferred)

🚀 Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead / Test Manager to support a strategic implementation of Equisoft’s Oracle Insurance Policy Administration System. This role will be critical in defining, improving, and executing the overall testing strategy across multiple workstreams, including system implementation, integrations, and data lake initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of manual and automated testing expertise, along with leadership capabilities to guide QA efforts, align stakeholders, and ensure delivery quality across complex enterprise systems.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Lead and refine the overall test strategy, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines
- Review current QA processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, coverage, and quality
- Design and oversee end-to-end testing frameworks for policy administration system implementation
- Coordinate testing efforts across multiple workstreams, including integrations and data lake components
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define test plans and acceptance criteria
- Drive test execution, defect management, and reporting, ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Provide clear communication and status updates to stakeholders, helping bring projects back on track where needed
- Establish and monitor QA metrics and KPIs using tools like TestRail
- Mentor QA team members and promote best practices in testing and automation
✅ Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in QA, including both manual and automation testing
- Strong experience in test strategy, planning, and execution at an enterprise level
- Hands-on expertise in Selenium with Java-based automation frameworks
- Experience with TestRail or similar tools for test management and reporting
- Solid understanding of system integrations and data validation
- Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
⭐ Preferred / Nice to Have
- Recent experience in the Life Insurance domain (highly preferred)
- Experience with Policy Administration Systems (especially Equisoft or Oracle Insurance)
- Exposure to data lake environments and data validation testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
