Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Application Architect to join our dynamic team for the Opex - GHR project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, cloud-native architecture, integration patterns, and microservices and a proven ability to design and guide scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end application and integration architecture for enterprise initiatives.
- Design multi-tier and microservices-based solutions, REST APIs, and event-driven integrations.
- Create architecture diagrams, high- and low-level designs, roadmaps, and reference architectures.
- Perform architectural reviews, assess technical debt, and evaluate solution alternatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to align with enterprise standards.
- Guide teams on application security, scalability, reliability, and performance engineering.
- Mentor technical leads and developers, and present architecture decisions to executive stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years in software development and application design.
- 5+ years as an Application Architect or Technical Lead.
- Strong hands-on background in Java/J2EE and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Design experience with microservices, REST APIs, and integration patterns.
- Cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Event-driven and messaging systems such as Kafka or MQ.
- Application security frameworks: OAuth2, SAML, JWT.
- Enterprise integration, middleware, and API gateways.
- Relational and NoSQL databases.
- CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Containerization and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Ability to produce clear architecture documentation and diagrams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments.
- UML, sequence diagrams, ER diagrams; Swagger/OpenAPI; Maven or Gradle.
- Git or Bitbucket; Jira and Confluence.
- Application modernization or cloud migration programs.
- Domain-driven design and API-first design and governance.
- Financial services or other regulated industries.
- Relevant certifications: Cloud Architect (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform), TOGAF, SAFe Architect.
