Oracle ERP Solution Architect / Technical Lead:

Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect / Technical Lead to lead our Oracle ERP landscape across Record to Report (R2R), Source/Procure to Pay (S2P/P2P), Supply Chain and Order to Cash (O2C) domains. This position is responsible for driving the design, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Oracle ERP (EBS / Fusion) solutions as part of a global modernization program. The ideal candidate will possess deep techno-functional expertise, hands-on technical leadership, and a strategic mindset to translate complex business requirements into scalable, compliant, and future-ready ERP solutions.

This role acts as the critical connector between business process owners, SI partners, technical teams, and stakeholders ensuring that solution architecture, product management, and integration strategies are aligned with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. The successful candidate will bring advanced skills in Oracle ERP, Fusion AI Agents, Fusion Data Intelligence, BI Publisher, OIC, VBCS, APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting, along with strong experience in ERP integrations, data migration, and boundary system management. A key expectation is to proactively provide automation and process improvement ideas, introduce AI-enabled solutions, and drive towards industry standards and best practices. The role requires challenging requirements and designs constructively, promoting continuous improvement, and influencing teams to adopt innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead solution / technical architecture for Oracle ERP (EBS / Fusion) and related ERP applications focused on Record to Report (R2R), Source/Procure to Pay (S2P/P2P), Supply Chain and Order to Cash (O2C) domains, ensuring robust, scalable, and compliant solutions.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance for ERP products beyond just Oracle ERP.
  • Translate complex business and functional requirements into optimal technical designs, asking critical questions to clarify needs and drive effective solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in Oracle ERP BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, VBCS, APEX, SOAP UI, SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripts, Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence, AI Agents Studio (leveraging standard AI agents and building custom AI agents), and PaaS Extensions for developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing ERP solutions.
  • Possess deep techno-functional subject matter expertise in Oracle EBS R2R, S2P/P2P, Supply Chain and O2C domains, including understanding of business processes, configurations, and customizations.
  • Evaluate and review vendor products for ERP systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead technical assessments and RFP processes for new ERP solutions, including fit-gap analysis and vendor selection.
  • Set and enforce coding standards, technical documentation templates, and technical review processes.
  • Conduct design/code reviews and mentor development teams on best practices and technical excellence.
  • Oversee and support the design of integrations and extensions across Oracle ERP and related boundary systems, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Bhoomi, file-based integrations, and APIs.
  • Provide automation and process improvement ideas, leveraging AI-enabled solutions and native Oracle Cloud capabilities to drive efficiency and innovation.
  • Challenge requirements and solution designs constructively, driving teams toward industry standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate with the AI governance team to review and assess ERP products or features involving AI, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards for security, privacy, and ethical use.
  • Guide and maintain documentation standards for all technical work, including RFPs, design documents, configuration workbooks, functional and technical specifications, code review templates, and approval rules.
  • Collaborate with functional product managers, delivery teams, and process owners to review requirements and ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and business strategy.
  • Ensure all solutions and processes comply with SOX, IT GxP, internal controls, audit, and security standards, including RBAC/ABAC for sensitive data and access controls.
  • Oversee boundary system integrations (e.g., contract management, procurement orchestration, spend analytics, bank validations, global einvoicing) and ensure process and data alignment.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and design issues, and escalate to leadership and PMO as needed.
  • Promote continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and adoption of native Oracle Cloud and AI capabilities.
  • Mentor internal and external teams on technical standards, governance, and documentation best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master s preferred).
  • 15+ years of hands-on techno-functional experience in Oracle ERP (EBS and Fusion), with significant exposure to R2R, S2P/P2P, Supply Chain and O2C domains.
  • 10+ years of experience in BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and PaaS Extensions, with over 5 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence and Fusion AI Agents Studio.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale ERP implementations, global rollouts, or modernization initiatives, including technical architecture, solution design, and product management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, SI partners, and complex design decisions in ERP programs.
  • Deep understanding of IT strategy, enterprise architecture, technical governance, and regulatory compliance (SOX, GxP, audit readiness).
  • Experience in regulated industries such as Pharma, Biotech, or Life Sciences is highly desirable.
  • Certifications in Oracle Cloud, Agile methodologies, or project management (e.g., PMP, CSM) are a plus.
