Senior Application Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Application Developer on a contract-to-hire basis in Pittsburgh, PA.

Summary:
The Senior Application Developer will be tasked with designing robust data models for analytics and reporting, as well as handle batch and streaming data workflows. This person will also be tasking with designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines on Databricks, and provide architectural guidance and support in platform usage.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
* Must have 10+ years of programming experience
* Must have 2+ years of experience working with big data platform, experience in data engineering domain, Python, and SQL
* Must have experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools required
* Knowledge of data visualization tools and BI platforms preferred
* Databricks or relevant cloud platforms experience is highly preferred
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication
* Must be able to problem solve and multi-task

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
