We're supporting a major enterprise organization seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Ping Identity technologies. This is a high-visibility engineering role where you'll help design, support, and enhance modern authentication and access management solutions across a large-scale environment.

Key Skills We're Looking For

• 5-8 years in IAM or Cybersecurity Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Ping Identity products:
  • PingFederate
  • PingID
  • PingAccess
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Linux, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, penetration testing
• Familiarity with passwordless or consumer authentication technologies (HYPR, Affirm - big plus!)
• Excellent communication skills and self-starter mentality

What You'll Be Doing

Identity & Access Engineering

• Engineer and support PingFederate, PingID, and PingAccess solutions
• Build and troubleshoot federation, SSO, MFA, and access control integrations
• Drive enhancements in authentication flows and identity-driven security

Security Engineering & Threat Detection

• Monitor emerging threats and help develop detection mechanisms
• Support engineering around IDS/IPS, VPN, firewalls, and endpoint controls
• Participate in penetration testing and vulnerability-based troubleshooting
• Review network traces and perform deep-dive analysis during investigations

Cloud & Container Security

• Use Docker/Kubernetes to support IAM and security microservices
• Work with teams to secure containerized workloads and modern app architectures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
• 5-8 years of Cybersecurity or IAM engineering experience
• Strong hands-on skills with Ping Identity products
• Experience with Linux, networking, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS
• Bonus: Experience with passwordless tech like HYPR or Affirm

This is a Contract position based out of Southlake, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $71.00 - $74.00/hr.
