Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing automation systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Develop and execute test plans for new and modified automation systems.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation systems, including schematics and operating procedures.
• Provide training and technical support to production and maintenance personnel on automation systems.
• Stay current with emerging automation technologies and industry best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, and control systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
• Experience with vision systems, sensors, and other automation components.
• Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot automation solutions for production lines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems and their integration with automation solutions.
• Familiarity with ISA-95 or similar manufacturing operations management models.
• Proficiency in Python scripting for data analysis, automation, and system integration.
• Certifications in relevant platforms (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, Ignition SCADA).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their application in IoT and industrial data.
