JOB DETAILS:

Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Remote / Hybrid role – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote work)

Type: 06 months contract to hire full time employee

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing/managing schedules to ensure timely completion of project
Troubleshoots complex issues and risks, coordinates integration of various modules, and ensures compliance with expected quality standards.
Ensures optimum utilization of resources and management of budgetary targets to meet goals
Negotiates/sets/clarifies customer expectations. Communicates project status to ensure customer satisfaction.
May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Field of Study: information Technology, Business or a related discipline
Experience: 5 to 8 years of related experience.

Additional Job Description Scope of Job:

Manages medium to large enterprise projects.
Perform work of large enterprise projects.
Performs work under general supervision.
May serve as Scrum Master on an agile team, helping the team through a combination of facilitation and coaching. While also helping those outside the team understand how to interact with the team

Additional Notes

Insurance. Big plus. Not a must.
MS project
MS Azure DevOps Boards We use these boards and are not traditional "project based " but work in cycles.
Utilize agile ceremonies but are not agile.
