JOB DETAILS:

Title:                       IT Project Manager

Location:               Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Remote / Hybrid role – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote work)

Type:                     06 months contract to hire full time employee

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing/managing schedules to ensure timely completion of project
• Troubleshoots complex issues and risks, coordinates integration of various modules, and ensures compliance with expected quality standards.
• Ensures optimum utilization of resources and management of budgetary targets to meet goals
• Negotiates/sets/clarifies customer expectations. Communicates project status to ensure customer satisfaction.
• May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Field of Study: information Technology, Business or a related discipline
• Experience: 5 to 8 years of related experience.

Additional Job Description Scope of Job:

• Manages medium to large enterprise projects.
• Perform work of large enterprise projects.
• Performs work under general supervision.
• May serve as Scrum Master on an agile team, helping the team through a combination of facilitation and coaching. While also helping those outside the team understand how to interact with the team

Additional Notes

• Insurance. Big plus. Not a must.
• MS project
• MS Azure DevOps Boards We use these boards and are not traditional "project based " but work in cycles.
• Utilize agile ceremonies but are not agile.
