Summary

Location: Waltham, MA Salary: $125,000.00 USD Annually - $170,000.00 USD Annually Description: Chief Engineer, Class A Office Portfolio

Full-Time, Direct Hire
Onsite in Waltham, MA

Responsibilities:

Lead engineering and facilities operations across a Class A office portfolio
Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation systems
Manage preventive maintenance programs, vendors, contractors, and capital projects
Develop and mentor engineering staff while driving operational excellence and tenant satisfaction
Support budgeting, regulatory compliance, sustainability initiatives, and emergency preparedness

Qualifications:

10+ years of commercial building operations, facilities, or engineering experience
4+ years of leadership experience managing engineering or maintenance teams
Strong knowledge of HVAC, MEP systems, BAS/BMS platforms, and preventive maintenance programs
Experience with vendor management, capital projects, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
EPA Universal/CFC certification and Class A office or life science facility experience are highly preferred
