Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SAP IS-U FICA Functional Consultant on behalf of our client in a remote environment. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong expertise in SAP Utilities Financial Contract Accounting (FI-CA). The consultant will play a key role in supporting and enhancing contract accounting processes, ensuring seamless integration with billing and invoicing, and delivering efficient, scalable solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP IS-U FI-CA (Financial Contract Accounting) solutions

• Manage end-to-end contract accounting processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections

• Ensure seamless integration between FI-CA and billing/invoicing components

• Design and implement dunning and collections processes

• Utilize the FI-CA Events Framework (FQEVENTS) for enhancements and customizations

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions

• Support system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

• Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements

• Work closely with technical teams on system enhancements and integrations

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP IS-U FI-CA configuration

• In-depth knowledge of contract accounting processes

• Proven experience with billing and invoicing integration

• Expertise in payments, dunning, and collections

• Experience working with FI-CA Events Framework (FQEVENTS)

• Solid understanding of Business Partner (BP) and Contract Accounts

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Utilities

• Knowledge of utilities industry regulations and compliance standards

• Experience integrating FI-CA with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, CRM)
