Description
We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will provide essential technical support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure seamless operations. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
Provide support for Windows systems, including installation, updates, and troubleshooting.
Manage and maintain Active Directory accounts, including user access and permissions.
Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Assist end-users with Windows 10 issues, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.
Document and track support requests to maintain accurate records and improve service delivery.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements in support processes.
Offer guidance and training to users on system functionalities and best practices.
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential problems.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10.
Experience with Active Directory management and troubleshooting.
Strong ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for providing user support.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented approach to documentation and tracking.
Prior experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred.
